Royaltē is a music audit intelligence platform operated by Se7ven Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website at royalte.ai and our audit services.

By using Royaltē, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take your privacy seriously and will never sell your data to third parties.

Plain English summary: We collect only what we need to run your audit and communicate with you. We don't sell your data. We don't serve ads. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

02 Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Royaltē:

Spotify Artist URL — the public URL you paste to initiate a scan. This is used solely to run your audit.
Name and email address — collected when you request a full audit or sign up for updates. Used to deliver your report and communicate with you.
Track count — an approximate count of your releases, used to scope your audit.
Referral code — if you enter or arrive via an affiliate referral code, we record this for commission attribution purposes.
Usage data — standard web analytics including pages visited, time on site, and browser type. Collected anonymously via Vercel Analytics.
03 How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

Run your Spotify audit and deliver your report via email
Communicate with you about your audit, early access, and Royaltē updates
Attribute referrals to affiliate partners where applicable
Improve the Royaltē platform based on anonymised usage patterns

We will never use your information for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

04 Spotify Data

Royaltē uses the Spotify public API to retrieve data associated with the artist URL you provide. We only access publicly available Spotify data — we do not request access to your Spotify account, login credentials, private listening history, or any non-public data.

Spotify's own privacy policy governs data held by Spotify. You can review it at spotify.com/privacy.

05 Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Royaltē:

Formspree — processes form submissions and forwards them to our team inbox. Your data is transmitted securely.
ConvertKit (Kit) — manages email communications and affiliate interest lists. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Rewardful — tracks affiliate referrals and commissions. Only referral attribution data is shared.
Vercel — hosts the Royaltē website and processes web requests. Standard server logs may be retained briefly.
06 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver your audit and maintain our records. Audit submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Email list subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@royalte.ai. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

07 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you

08 Cookies

Royaltē uses minimal cookies. We use a session cookie to track affiliate referral codes for commission attribution (a 60-day window). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Standard browser local storage may be used to persist your referral code across page visits.

09 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store payment information — payments are handled directly by Stripe when paid tiers launch.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email. Continued use of Royaltē after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
